To those who supported my first run for Missouri City Council At-Large Position #2 back in 2020, I offer an exuberant “Thank you” for all your hard work and dedication. I know you were busy with many obligations, at home, in your community, and at work. You and I faced unprecedented challenges, such as those associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, virtual schooling for our children, and isolation from our friends and family, yet you still persevered with me. You donated your time and resources to help me cross the finish line. You proved just how much one person could make a difference. For that, I extend my heartfelt gratitude.
To the many new friends I made and associates I met during my first two years in office, I am so happy that we worked together and achieved significant milestones for our great city. We have so much to celebrate, including the new Fire Station No. 6, near the entrance to the Parks Edge neighborhood, our new Small Business Advisory Committee, our successful Eat, Shop, and Play Local campaign, the ordinance increasing tax exemptions, including an exemption of $25,000 for seniors (65 and older), $20,000 for disabled persons and 2.5 percent for residential homesteads, the planned re-vamp of Township Square, and major park improvements such as converting the Hunters Glen Park Trail to concrete, the Ridgeview Park Splash Pad, and the Veterans Memorial Park. We accomplished so much.
However, there is still a lot more to do.
I recently announced my re-election bid. I hope to stay connected with you. I hope you will become involved with my re-election campaign. To hear more about our campaign’s latest news, join our Mailing List. Again, thank you for your support on behalf of our campaign.
